Differentiation is a key focus of many early-career teachers. Encouraging and administrating full participation of students with disabilities is a constant challenge, but the understanding surrounding it is becoming more and more clearly defined.
The President of the Queensland Association of Special Education Leaders, Roselynne Anderson, has spoken to the QCT about the crucial nature of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST) Standard 1.6 – Strategies to support full participation of students with disabilities.
